This 35-hour program is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in boating safety, boat handling, navigation and seamanship, with added flexibility for participants to choose the vessel type they wish to train on.
Participants can select from single or twin outboard or twin inboard configurations. This choice allows for personalized training that aligns with the specific boating experience or vessel ownership of each student.
By completing this course, students will gain critical boating knowledge and hands-on experience with their chosen vessel type and will be on a pathway to earn the Florida Enhanced Boater’s Card. Students who take the online Safe Boaters Course and successfully pass all four NSBC (National Safe Boating Council) modules will be eligible to apply for the Florida Enhanced Boater’s Card in the near future.
